The College

With a quest and vision to promote quality education the founders, Late Dr. S. Hekha Mao and his wife Mrs. A. Kaisa established the college on 1st July, 1997.
The college started with a humble beginning on a rented building with six (6) rooms, located at Upper A.G. National Highway 29, Kohima. In the first year 164 students were admitted, 36 students were enrolled in P.U. Commerce and 128 in P.U. Arts stream.

 As per the Nagaland University internal evaluation system, the internal evaluation carries for 30 (thirty) marks, which will be added with the external evaluation (i.e. end semester examination). In the internal evaluation, a student need to score an average of 14 (fourteen marks) to appear for the end semester examination conduct by Nagaland University.
